DESCRIPTION
On this 7-day lodge safari you will visit the Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Park as well as the Serengeti and the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. Travelling through breath-taking landscapes on adventurous tracks you will experience nature and wildlife at its best.
Day 1; Arrival
Upon arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport meet and assisted by our driver guide, after short
briefing usher to the vehicle depart to Arusha city, on the way to Arusha you will view the top of the
tallest mountain in Africa Mount Kilimanjaro and the second tallest montain in Africa from distance.
Arrive in Arusha; enjoy dinner before your wonderful Tanzania Safari starts in the morning. Dinner and
overnight at SUMMIT SAFARI LODGE
Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
“After breakfast, check-out from lodge ready for safari to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara
National Park, you travel through the beautiful views of rift Valley Escarpments. While driving you will
see Masai herding their cattle and goats just before the park entrance you drive through the small but
busy village of Mto wa Mbu, famous for its population of up to 120 tribes and its lively, colourful
atmosphere. Arriving at Lake Manyara, you will enter the park and start your first game drive, first
through lush forest and then out to open grassland and the lake edge. The birdlife in this park is a
birdwatchers paradise, with many endemic species. If you’re lucky, you might see the famous tree
climbing lions of Manyara. After lunch we will proceed with an afternoon game drive while we make our
way out of the Park and drive to Karatu Meals: Dinner and Overnight at Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge
Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
“Our next destination starts shortly after breakfast with a scenic drive up the Rift Valley escarpment to
Serengeti National Park. You will be crossing Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority we head for the
famous Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti National Park covers an area of 14,763 sq km in whose name in Maasai language
means endless plains. Common animals in these plains include lions, buffaloes, impalas, hippos,
waterbucks, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles and rhino.

Day 4: Serengeti Plain
“Two game drives in this day. In the morning before breakfast go for sunrise game drives for about 1-
2hours then back to your Lodge for breakfast and pick up your lunch boxes then drive for the afternoon
and evening game drive in endless plain It’s the oldest park in Tanzania and most complex ecosystem on
earth. The flora and fauna are almost the same as hundreds of centuries ago. There is so much to see
and keep you occupied in Serengeti National Park. One of the best places to spot large predators like
lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas is Seronera Valley. You “can also see elephants, zebras, elephants,
giraffes, wildebeest Migration and many other species on any given day. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Depart for an early morning game drive in Serengeti. Breakfast at leisure.
Afterwards drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area. Brief stop at Olduvai Gorge
Tanzania’s secret garden’ which contains a hidden world of teeming wildlife. Descend 2000 feet
from the lush rain forest on the rim to the Savannah bush and acacia woodland on the crater
floor
Dinner and overnight at NGORONGORO WILDLIFE LODGE.
Day 6 Ngorongoro Conservation area
After breakfast descend the crater floor for a half day tour till 15h00
12h00 Lunch will be taken at one of the picnic sites on the crater
14h30 drive to Karatu area, dinner and overnight LAKE MANYARA HOTEL.
Day 7 : Karatu – Tarangire National Park
In the morning after breakfast you will be collected from your Hotel. We set out for Tarangire National Park on a good tarmac road across gently rolling
Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. As we zip along we pass many Maasai in their colourful dress
walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle and driving donkey’s carts. Tarangire National
Park, well known for its large elephant herds, is also host to a multitude of other creatures. From the
open roof of our state of the art safari jeep we experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and life giving
Tarangire River endeavouring to encounter a multitude of creatures from zebra to wildebeest, buffalo,
elephant, and giraffe, to name but a few. You will take a lunch in picinic in the park It is possible we will
glimpse lion stalking prey or leopards watching, relaxing in the trees. After game drive you will drive of
to Arusha for rest or drop off and there it will be time to say byebye to you.
